Rob Calvert is a visual artist with a background in art, architecture and education. His material is drawn from personal experience through inner conversations with themes from nature, culture and history. Those conversations inform diverse outcomes in painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography, separately and in combination.

He lives in Sag Harbor, NY and is married to Mary Woltz, beekeeper and founding owner of Bees' Needs.
